This page is dedicated to the royal assholes at Ackerman Toyota in St. Louis, Missouri.
So it has been a while since we have had a chance to update our beloved site. I think it's pretty clear from the domain name(s) that we loathe all that is Ackerman Toyota. But, today I won't spend time on our particular problems with Ackerman Toyota. No, today I will focus on *your* problems with Ackerman Toyota. We noticed a few months ago that you guys hate Ackerman just as much as we do. We were browsing the website of our favorite consumer protection organization the Better Business Bureau. Well the BBB keeps records of everyone, members or not. While we were browsing their site we noticed that every Toyota dealer in the St Louis area is a BBB member. Well, except for one. Take a look at this link to the BBB’s website. The BBB emblem ( Ackerman Toyota also happens to be the only dealer in the St Louis area who has an “unsatisfactory record”. That is an exact quote from the BBB website. As a matter of fact, here is a quick list of problems you guys have had with Ackerman Toyota as expressed by your filings with the BBB: 8 Total Problems3 Sales Practice Issues Let’s compare Ackerman Toyota to the rest of the Toyota dealerships in St Louis: Ackerman Toyota 8 Combined Unresolved Issues from all the dealerships other than Ackerman Toyota: 0 Ackerman Toyota Unresolved Issues: 7 Yes 7 of the 8 times someone filed a complaint in the last 36 moths with Ackerman Toyota they failed to resolve the complaint to the satisfaction of both parties. Sometimes you are so flabbergasted by the actions of some people that you literally cannot believe what you are hearing. Today, Ackerman Toyota contacted my employer and told them that they would be filing a police report claiming that I threatened to fire bomb their business! I have no idea if they really did contact the police, incidentally, but the insinuation was made that I should be expecting contact from St Louis' finest early next week. I wonder if the general manager at Ackerman Toyota knows that making false claims to law enforcement is illegal? They also claimed that they had forwarded this information to their lawyers and that I should be expecting to hear from them any day now. I'm excited, I can't wait! I would like to take this space to explain to Ackerman Toyota that I will not be silenced with scare tactics and legal threats and that my FREE SPEECH is PROTECTED under the United Stats Bill of Rights First Admendment:
What a perfect example of the mind set of this company. Jerry Ackerman, you can resolve this quite simply. Fire your general manager for his gross disrespect of customers and for allowing this issues to get so completely out of control. Apologize for his actions in writing. And I'd be happy to drop the issue all together. Regrettably, I am sure what will happen is more threats, more posturing, and more blaming of the issues on your customers. What a shame. All this and all I wanted was for you to fix your mistake and shake my hand. Luckily for the consumers of Toyota automobiles in the St. Louis Metro I'm well versed in the law, bloggers rights, and my rights as a citizen of the great country of the USA. I'm also a proud member of the EFF which has tons of information about companies who have tried to do the same thing that Ackerman Toyota is trying to do to me. Because of the recent developments. I've decided to exponentially increase my work on this website. I'll be adding comments and forums so the rest of you can relate your stories too, as I'm sure I'm not alone. Thanks, FuckAckermanToyota
This site was created because of the runaround, lying, disrespectfulness, and over all arrogance of Ackerman Toyota's general manager and their service department in general. If you are considering purchasing a car from Ackerman I advise you to reconsider! Please read the forum thread saved below to see just how these people treat their customers. Incidentally these jerkoffs own or are very very closely affiliated with a local Scion club called STLScion.com where our incident was documented for everyone to read. Unfortunately they deleted the posts. But, anticipating that they would do this I saved everything for your reading pleasure. The original thread was here if it matters.
