I think Ackerman's said they took the door panels off and looked at it, I'll check it out but if it was that problem (which would be nice if it was something simple like that) I can't believe they wouldn't have caught it.

It was stupid, they cleaned the windows then rubbed their finger down them stating that there was grease on them and that there was bubbling in the tint that could only be felt, not seen, that was causing the bubbling.

I begged for them to just fix it, I even took it back to the tint shop and had them verify the tint was fine and by then it had been like 3 weeks and I just said screw it, so my brand new 07 scion is already screwed up.

Oh and they threatened to call the cops on us because we used the f word, not directly at anyone in particular, just out of frustration. I won't be doing anymore business with them. I wish they would have shown us the respect everyone else appears to have gotten from them.

wow thats nuts, cant believe ackerman did that. well to pull off the door

panel you need to pop out the window controls, unplug them, take the screw

from where the door lever is out, then it all just pulls off, once you have the

panel off plug back in the window controls and roll them up and down see if

it still makes noise, if it doesnt its on the panel. if it does then it could be on

the tracks or in the gears of the motor, but with the panel off you should be

able to get a better view and "see" where the noise is coming from and go

from there. if you need any help while taking it off give me a call,

My salesman was Paul, he was GREAT! I really like him, it was the people in the shop some dude that said he was the shop manager I think...

Um, but yeah I'm not taking my car back there anymore.

For some reason I think they wouldn't take the door panel off and look, they were all like, oh well, who's going to pay for this???

I think they like, cleaned it and rolled it up and down a bunch but that's it.

They were more interested in placing blame than helping me.

And I'm sorry, but, my bf paid my down payment and was going to go back to Ackermans for our next car which we had planned on buying sometime this year, but they refused to talk to him telling him HE wasn't the customer.

That's cool, my name's on the paperwork, but he would have been a future customer. And in my eyes he was just as much as a customer as I am.

I registered just to comment on this Ackerman deal. I'm ckbiebers boyfriend.

I don't think there has ever been a time in my life where I was treated so disrespectfully by a company. If I could have punched that manager in the face without going to jail I would have. He was a total douche bag.

He was so focused on making the 100$ or whatever on labor that all he could say was "It's not our fault! It was the tint people! Who's gonna pay for this?!" What a f**king ass hole. Snake. Well the thing worked just dandy before we brought it in for leather and it was OBVIOUSLY assembled incorrectly. You could see where the seals were not up against the window like they should have been. They were folded down inside the door. If the car wasn't brand new I would have taken it appart and fixed it myself without even thinking about it. The point was we just paid 20k$ for this POS and they wouldn't even fix a simple problem that would have only taken 15 minutes to resolve.

Instead they stood there and argued with me for more than an hour, threatened me, and tryed to weasle out of THEIR f**kING MISTAKE! Still boils my blood to this day. I even considered setting up a new website just to cataloge my expierence and other similar expierences called www.f**kackermantoyata.com or something similar.

Boo hoo you heard a curse word! What a cop out. Give me a break. I LOATHE ACKERMAN! What a bunch of assholes. At least the people in the service place.
